Equestrian CampsRide with the Tide™ riding camps
Are you interested in experiencing the collegiate equestrian life?
The University of Alabama Equestrian Program is excited to offer an opportunity for high school students to experience the collegiate equestrian life through “Ride With The Tide” camps. These camps are open to riders with hunt seat experience between the ages of 14-18, male and female, that have a desire to ride in college at the IHSA level. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in competing at the intercollegiate setting.
Campers need to bring a parent or guardian with them. Our camp also focuses on questions and information that parents may need about competitive riding during college.
Brand new to UA Equestrian Camps is the “Children of UA Faculty/Staff Horsemanship Camps”! Summer of 2019, we are offering the children of UA Faculty/Staff the opportunity to attend a Horsemanship Camp. It is limited to 6 UA Faculty/Staff children ages 10-14. Whether the camper knows how to ride or not, this camp will teach the children the basics of horsemanship and safety around horses. Campers will learn basic riding skills using fun activities. Camps will start each day at 7:30 am and end no later than 5:30 pm. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and drinks for each day.
